At Lavé, we know you want to be a better version of yourself and pursue all-natural, healthy living. The problem is that we're often unsure about which home and care products are safe for us to use. Plus, we don’t want to waste time and money on products that don’t fit our lifestyle or that make your home and bathroom seem cluttered. We know how hard it is to find all-natural products, which is why we’ve simplified things for you. Many things in life can cause harm, what you wash with shouldn’t

NATURAL AND HEALTHY CHOICES
Sulfates are responsible for the super-sudsy lather you get out of most shampoos and body washes. They are a type of surfactant (detergent, emulsifier, and/or foaming agent) that can cause skin irritations, rashes, and strip your hair of natural oils.
Parabens are commonly used as preservatives in cosmetics often used to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and mold. They have been linked to potential issues and are considered potential endocrine disruptors.
The Lavé Story
Why Does Lavé Exist?
In July of 2017, Shelly Black, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Before she started extensive treatment that involved aggressive chemotherapy and radiation, her doctors recommended two things: (1) Eliminate bad food & stop drinking pop and (2) use natural products in the shower and on your skin.
After a one-year battle with cancer, Shelly passed on August 2nd. It took months—maybe years—of reflection and self-searching for me to understand this tragedy. Then it came to me: I have the ability to warn people of the dangers of toxic chemicals in food, personal care products as well as the importance of regular doctor screenings. Developing awareness to what is in the products we use everyday is step one. The mission of Lavé is help people make a decision to live a cleaner, healthier life, and that starts with the products we use.
Supporting the Fight Against Colon Cancer
Every product we sell helps support the Colon Cancer Foundation (CCF), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to a world without colorectal cancer through awareness, prevention, screening, and research.
Your Colonoscopy Schedule
Per recent studies, the American Cancer Society suggests you should plan to get your first colon cancer screening at age 45. Even earlier if you have a family history of Colon Cancer (age 30).
- Should your results come back clean, you should get tested every 10 years until the age of 75, at which point you should ask your Doctor about a recommended schedule.
